-SB Nation is back with another edition of Sports Cards For Insane People.  In this edition, Jon Bois examines Ultra-Pro cards, with an emphasis on the many talents of Hal Morris.

-After being initially snubbed, Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen had a nice moment over the weekend when play at PNC Park halted while the crowd gave him a nice ovation to celebrate his selection to the All-Star Game.

-Pete Rose has congratulatory wishes for Derek Jeter, the newest member of MLB's exclusive 3,000 hit club.   Rose thinks Jeter may have a shot at the all-time hits record, but we wouldn't bet on it.

-All-Star weekend features baseball's best, but Deadspin recently posted a two-part article called The 100 Worst Baseball Players of All Time.

-The July 31 trade deadline is fast approaching and MLB Trade Rumors has a full breakdown of the trade market's strengths and weaknesses.

-The July 9th game between the Padres and Dodgers entered the ninth inning with one total hit and zero runs between the two teams, and that was still the situation with two outs in the bottom half of the frame.  Baseball Reference has all the details on this bizarre pitching duel.

-Many sportswriters put out lists of 2011 first half fantasy stars, but ESPN.com's Tristan H. Cockcroft recently compiled a list of youngsters for a projected all-fantasy team for the 2015 baseball season.

-Heath Bell knows how to make an entrance, as proven by his bizarre sprint and slide upon entering Tuesday night's game.

-Washington Nationals phenom Bryce Harper loves his parents, and he's got the hardcore body ink to prove it.

-Justin Timberlake was interviewed during the All-Star Game and clearly enjoys baseball, beer, and sarcastically praising Fox commentator Joe Buck.  We now take back all of the bad things we said about him during his 'N Sync days.
