-The internet was abuzz this week with video footage of mustachioed Washington Nationals super-prospect Bryce Harper blowing a kiss to opposing pitcher Zachary Neal after slugging a home run.

-With the MLB amateur draft just ended, Grant Brisbee of SB Nation took a look back at the best and worst drafts in baseball history.

-Led by Baseball Press favorite Barry Zito , the San Francisco Giants recently released a video for the It Gets Better Project, joining the worldwide campaign to end childhood bullying against gay and lesbian youths.  The Cubs and Red Sox have already announced plans to make their own It Gets Better Project videos, and many other teams will likely follow suit.

-Jim Caple of ESPN.com's Page 2 has compiled a few entertaining modern day spins on baseball card cartoons.

-Popcorn at the ballpark may be overpriced, but one Kansas City fan recently got his money's worth when he used the snack bucket to snare a foul ball.  Tasty.

-The L.A. Times had a somewhat surprising set of revelations this week when it reported that nine of the 30 major league teams were actually in violation of MLB's debt service rules, some of them carrying debts several times their annual payroll.

-More and more teams are allowing Super Two status to determine when they call up their prospects, but some analysts say it is a flawed plan.  Fangraphs' Dave Cameron gives his suggestions on how the system can be fixed.

-In case you missed it late last week, Orioles outfielder Adam Jones made what many are calling one of the best catches in baseball history when he robbed Miguel Olivo of extra bases with a stellar Willie Mays-like over-the-shoulder grab (video autoplays).

-While many of us have come to love baseball's hold statistic, it still has many flaws.  Beyond the Boxscore examines some problems with the hold and its impact.
