- Get those tastebuds ready.  Yahoo Sports serves up the top ten new concession items at major league ballparks this year.

- What will it take for the Bucs to lock up Andrew McCutchen? Dave Gershman of Beyond the Boxscore explores the possibilities of a new contract for the Pirates' star outfielder.

- What can the Red Sox get for Adrian Gonzalez on the trade market?  Jayson Stark of ESPN.com looks back at the history of teams that started out the season with an 0-4 record.

- "Bernie Madoff Souvenir Piggybank Night" is the best giveaway among this year's ballpark promotions. However, Jim Caple of ESPN.com writes that it's already been canceled.

- 1989 NL MVP Kevin Mitchell plead no contest and got probation this week for punching a golfer in San Diego County last year, but he was on the '86 Mets, so we still love him.

- The Yankees will halt use of hand signals from team employees in the stands after allegations of funny business.  Yankees fans will likely still continue use of a single finger hand gesture, however.

- Minor League Baseball kicked off their season this week.  MLBDepthCharts.com examines National League position players and pitchers that are under the radar, but should have breakout seasons.

- Is it better to go 1 for 4 with a home run or 4 for 4 with 4 singles?  Baseball-Reference investigates.

- Despite a significant decrease in pitch velocity since his 2007 all-star season, Mets pitcher Chris Young may still find success due to an optical illusion created by his six-foot ten-inch height, according to Brian Costa of the Wall Street Journal.

- On the other end of the spectrum, Royals relief pitcher Tim Collins may only be five-foot seven, but his stuff is big time.  Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports tells us all about this pint-sized fireballer.
