- As they do every year, Baseball America released their Top 100 Prospects for 2011. Surprised about who is number one?  You shouldn't be.

- Neftali Feliz will reportedly compete for a spot in the rotation for the Texas Rangers during spring training.  Evan Grant of The Rangers Blog of reviews Feliz's repertoire and other statistical goodies.

- The Frederick Keys, Single-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, are having issues with the city government regarding renewing a lease.  Affiliated baseball with potential prospects or Independent League players?  You make the call.  Steve Melewski of MASNsports.com writes about the latest developments.

- Rob Neyer of SB Nation continues his series on the top MLB players of the decade with a look at leftfielders, centerfielders and rightfielders.

- Paul Sporer (@sporer on Twitter) of Baseball by Paul released his annual 2011 Starting Pitching Guide.  The 127 page PDF file discusses draft strategies, starting pitching targets and includes profiles on 546 Major League Baseball pitchers for the 2011 season.

- Justine Siegal is the first woman to throw major league batting practice, but she's also the first woman to coach men's collegiate baseball and men's pro baseball.  Jordan Bastian has the story at MLB.com.

- Baseball-Reference lists the seasons where a hitter had more home runs than strikeouts.  Not surprisingly, there aren't a lot of recent seasons in there.
