Edgar Renteria will be taking his two World Series rings and heading to the Reds. The 2010 World Series MVP has agreed to a one year deal for $2.1 million. The veteran shortstop will also have the opportunity to make an additional $900,00 through incentives.

The Washington Nationals filled their first base spot this week by signing veteran Adam LaRoche to a two-year $16 million guaranteed contract. The deal includes a club option for a third season that would bring the total to $25 million.
Hot Stove: Adrian Beltre Joins the Texas Rangers  (Tuesday January 4th, 2011  - by Dan Port)
Third baseman Adrian Beltre joined such elite names as Cliff Lee, Nolan Ryan , Juan Gonzalez, and Chuck Norris this week when he decided to become a Texas Ranger. Formerly of the Boston Red Sox, Beltre agreed to a 6-year $96 million deal with the reigning American League champions.
Hot Stove: Kevin Gregg Signs with Baltimore  (Tuesday January 4th, 2011  - by Nate Springfield)
This week, the Baltimore Orioles kept improving their team deep into this off-season by agreeing to sign former Toronto Blue Jays closer Kevin Gregg. The two-year deal is reportedly worth $10 million. Gregg posted a 3.51 ERA while collecting 37 saves north of the border last year.
